Like A Hen Protects Her Chicks Beneath Her Wings

Have you every watched and learned things for the natural beauty that God created for our enjoyment? One of my favorites is watching a mother hen take care of her little chicks. Mama hen watches over and protects her chicks as well as leading them to their food and water sources. When there is danger, she has a cluck she uses and all the chicks will go running back to her and will get under her wings for protection. There is no safer place for them in this world, than to be under her wings.

Jesus also longs to gather us together, just as the mama hen does with her chicks, and to protect us under the shelter of His love. If we will be obedient and listen for His instructions and run to Him for protection, we will be as save as those little chicks are nestled safely under the protection of their mama's wings. Psalm 91:4 says: "He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection." Let God cover you with His wings and you will find safety during this troubling time we are living in.

Psalm 61:2-4 -
"From the ends of the earth, I cry to you for help when my heart is overwhelmed. Lead me to the towering rock of safety, for you are my safe refuge, a fortress where my enemies cannot reach me. Let me live forever in your sanctuary, safe beneath the shelter of your wings!"

Allow yourself to be lead to a rock that is higher than what we can know or even imagine. He will be our refuge and our strong tower.

Psalm 91:4 -
"He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection."

Let Jesus cover you! Find refuge under His wings. His faithfulness will be your shield.
